Meet the Instructor

Chuck Dorsett

Chuck Dorsett is the Leathercraft Product Manager for Weaver Leather Supply. Prior to joining Weaver, Chuck established his own business, The Dorsett House, Inc. where he produced leatherwork for both movies and TV including Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Mortal Kombat TV series, Man in the Iron Mask, BBC’s Arthur, Kaamelot on French TV as well as some work in the MET and on the History Channel. After 14 years in business, Chuck went on to operate a retail leathercraft store and built its yearly sales up from $400,000 to $1.3 million. With a contagious enthusiasm for all things leather, Chuck is a teacher at heart and the host of The Leather Element series on YouTube. Chuck shares a wealth of knowledge, tips, and techniques perfect for both beginner and advanced leathercrafters alike.
